The link for The Farm in Candler, North Carolina.  http://www.thefarmevents.com/  Thought I would share for anyone who would like to visit them!  Our cabin was named "The Chestnut", and for anyone who has never had the opportunity to visit The Carolinas in the fall, the Asheville area is a must see not to mention The Blue Ridge Parkway is just breathtaking.
Lots of Love and Magic to you all!
Jenny
This is our little cabin at "The Farm" in Candler NC. DH and
I married 10-20-10 and disappeared for a week to this
little cabin in the woods. It was so amazing, with a
fireplace inside and outside on the back deck, a giant
whirlpool tub, beautiful horses in the fields and trees that
felt like they were hugging us. We plan to move to NC
when the kids are grown so we can have out little
piece of heaven in the mountains. For this LO I used
the "Victoriana" kit from Scraps of Darkness
for February, it is so amazing and versatile! TFL!

My Father In Law, Jerald Thomas, with President Reagan
back in the day.  Jerald is a career Air Force Man and has
met so many amazing people in his life.  Of the ones I
know of, President Reagan has to be my favorite!  Jerald
was a Thunderbird, worked at the Pentagon, among many
other amazing places.  He is witty, smart, caring and just
an all around amazing guy.  I am honored to be his
Daughter In Law and just as honored to be loved by
his amazing son, my sweet hubby Jerry.  This LO was
created with the February kit from Scraps of Darkness
entitled "Victoriana".  Stop by and check out SOD,
amazing kits, amazing people!!!  TFL!
Love and Magic to all, Jenny

little potions for the "witch" in all of us

Avocado Facial Mask
2 T mashed avocado
2T ground oats
1T honey
Combine all ingredients with a fork in a small bowl.  Apply to clean neck and face and leave on for 10-15 minutes.  Rinse with clean water and pat dry with towel. Enough for 1 application.

Homemade Bath Salts
This is my own recipe so it's a little dab of this, and a little spot of that.

A few drops of Lavender Essential oil or your preference, i just love lavender!
4-5 cups of a Mix of Epsom salts and dead sea salts (or either on it's own)
2T olive oil
1T dried lavender buds
I mix all of this up in a metal bowl, then store in a pretty little mason jar on the tub side.

To use:
pour desired amount of mix into a muslin bag and float in water or hang over spout, light your favorite candles and disappear!

So, the hop was amazing and the girls rocked it.  And yes, I got bored and changed my blog again.  I am overwhelmed with microbiology, haven't time to scrap, and just restless to say the least.  I am dreaming of an herb garden, twinkle lights, ivy and a magical tiny backyard this year.  I am really hoping I have time and energy to pull off a wonderful spot to relax in back there.  Everytime I plant something the pup lays in it, or I kill whatever I plant.  Think I need some magic potions to make things flourish.....hugs
