I found this image and fell in love!! Someday Perhaps?
I went to my dear friend Leslie's lss today, Whole Lotta Scrap.
Of the goodies I found I wanted to share this one first. This
product is by Luminarte and is called Twinkling H2O's.
There are so many vibrant wonderful colors, and the first
thing I did when I got home was start playing. When you open
the jar the product is hard. Leslie had explained to me that this is a
watercolor product and is one of her faves.
I have to agree, it is stunning. There is lots of mica, more so
than the shimmer sprays and is easily manipulated with
water and a brush to be thicker or thinner.
It also dries beautifully with the heat gun. Hopefully tomorrow
I will get some scrappy time so I will have a piece to share!
Love and Magic to all! -Jenny
For this layout I used the beautiful "Victoriana" kit
from Scraps of Darkness. I incorporated a Dusty
Attic Frame which I crackle painted and Inked. The die
cuts are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I distressed and inked
the edges of the page, yes much less distressing than usual.
The pin is Mandy's from SOD as well as the handmade
flower she taught in her tutorial "Panties in a bunch".
I rolled the edges, inked and distressed to achieve the final
look. The doily was a mistake from a previous creation,
one I loved so much I used it here. The colors were perfect!
Finally, the die cuts I started with this hideous turqouise
color and then inked with a copper colorblox ink and was
surprised when I ended up with my desired look of weathered
copper. Thanks for looking, love and magic to all!
